Miliki Shrink significantly reduces the time required to send and receive large images and documents over the Internet and optimizes storage spaces on hard drives, optical discs, flash cards and USB Keydrives. With Shrink, you can further compress your ZIP files. You can also convert a Shrink folder into a ZIP folder.

Miliki Shrink is designed to perform high compression of a variety of data types including pictures (e.g., JPEG, BMP, GIFS, PNG, TIFF, etc) and documents (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PDF, etc). Shrink is built on a suite of patented methods developed for particular data types and formats. Shrink uses a Content Sensitive Approach for identification and decomposition of the data into suitable constituents for more effective compression. Digital images are automatically grouped into special classes of pictures such as photo realistic, natural, line drawing, bi-tonal etc. Documents are also decomposed into constituent classes such as texts, tables, formulas, embedded pictures etc. Shrink then automatically selects the best scheme for compressing each component from the suite of algorithms and filters. The result is a significant compression that is much better than what is produced by other compression techniques.
